



Tarun Sardesai is a former golf Professional who realised his love for teaching early on in his career. His then coach Donato Ponziano gave him a push in the right direction and there has been no looking back since.
Tarun's penchant for learning puts him in the league of men and coaches who’s teaching is driven not only by experience but also knowledge and science. He is not only upto date with all the goings on in the world of golf coaching, but uses this effectively to give his students high quality information – the best they can possibly access.
In early 2013 he set up base at the now Zion Hills Golf County to build a junior development program rooted in creating a love for the game and nurturing talent.
Since then, the academy has grown and reached greater heights with his determination to create an environment of excellence that allows young golfers to live their life like elite athletes. He conducts classroom sessions on aspects such as routine, handling pressure, discipline, mental process and a whole series of topics related to practicing, playing and living like a champion.
He works tirelessly to continually build processes that better integrate golf, academics and sports science.

Arjun Singh is a Senior Coach at the academy with over 20 years of experience in the golf industry. Having started his journey in golf in 2001–2002, he has developed extensive knowledge both as a player and coach, working with golfers across a wide range of skill levels and competitive backgrounds.
Arjun’s coaching philosophy centres around keeping the game simple, practical, and easy to understand. Through structured lesson planning, effective drills, and clear communication, he helps golfers build confidence and apply their learning seamlessly on the course. Known for his calm and approachable nature, he creates a supportive environment that encourages consistent improvement and long-term development.
Popular among both everyday and competitive golfers, Arjun is especially valued for his work with junior athletes. An NGAI-certified coach across multiple levels, he has also participated in advanced putting and short-game seminars led by Jonathan Manne, Chairman of PGA of Europe & IGU Golf Summit.

Through his team at Qua Nutrition, students regularly receive expert guidance, interactive sessions, and practical learning on eating right for performance, recovery, and long-term health.
Working in sync with the TSG performance team, this approach ensures nutrition remains a strong pillar of our system — helping young golfers build healthy habits that support both their game and their life beyond the course.

Her own journey of healing and self-discovery shapes the way she connects with people — with empathy, calm, and genuine care. At TSG, Ranjan Das, our Media Expert, plays an important role in shaping how the academy’s journey is seen by the world. With his experience and creative vision, he guides the storytelling behind TSG — ensuring our values, effort, and moments are captured the right way.
Working with his media team, Ranjan helps turn training, tournaments, and everyday academy life into meaningful visuals. Because sharing the TSG story is not just about cameras — it’s about vision, consistency, and telling the story with purpose.

Vedashree Bhat is the Sports Nutritionist at the academy, working closely with athletes and coaches to build nutrition systems that support daily training and long-term development. She holds a Master's in Sports Nutrition from ICMR-NIN, is an ISAK-certified Level 1 Anthropometrist, and brings over three years of hands-on experience across a diverse range of sports.
Her career spans sports rehabilitation setups, sports academies, and the Sports Authority of Gujarat. She has also contributed to building the Sports and Performance Nutrition Programme with IIT Madras.
Vedashree's approach centres around establishing a strong nutritional foundation and sustainable habits before layering in nutrient timing and sport-specific strategies. Supplementation is used selectively, guided by evidence, practical application, and individual athlete needs. In golf, where performance hinges on sustained energy, sharp focus, and consistent recovery across long training blocks and competitive rounds, she helps each golfer take confident ownership of their nutrition, both on and off the course.

Dr. Kushalappa Subbiah is an orthopaedic surgeon working at the intersection of injury care, recovery, and athletic performance. With specialist training across India and Australia, his focus goes beyond treating injuries — it is about helping athletes return stronger, move better, and stay in the game.
His clinical work centres on shoulder, elbow, and sports-related injuries, with experience in arthroscopy, joint preservation, and return-to-play decision making. Having worked with athletes across multiple sporting disciplines, he understands the demands of training, competition, and the pressure to return safely.
At TSG Academy, Dr. Kushalappa works as a consultant alongside the team to support structured, athlete-first pathways — from injury prevention and early diagnosis to rehabilitation planning and safe return to sport.
His approach is collaborative, practical, and performance-focused: helping athletes recover smarter, reduce setbacks, and get back to doing what they love.

Sumit Bhandari leads the Sports Science department at Tarun Sardesai Golf Academy, bringing over seven years of experience working with golfers across junior, amateur, and professional levels. He holds a Master's degree in Sports Physiotherapy and has built his career across some of India's most demanding high-performance environments — including the Asian Games, the Faldo Series Asia Grand Final, a national-level tennis academy, and as Head Physiotherapist for the Indian National Rugby Team.
At the academy, Sumit oversees a multidisciplinary team delivering prehabilitation, workload monitoring, exercise therapy, and return-to-sport rehabilitation — with a consistent focus on long-term athlete health and sustained performance.
A sportsman at heart, Sumit grew up playing cricket and remains an avid marathon runner — a passion that keeps him closely connected to the athlete experience he works to support every day.

Rashmi Attarde, a Gold Medalist in her Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy, specialises in evidence-based sports rehabilitation, injury management, and athletic performance. Believing in movement as medicine, she focuses on identifying root causes, optimising movement, and supporting long-term athlete health and performance.
With experience ranging from elite women’s cricket to competitive golf, she has worked with athletes across multiple age groups and performance levels, specialising over the last two years in golf-specific physiotherapy with a focus on injury assessment, rehabilitation, workload management, and return-to-competition planning through a collaborative and holistic approach alongside coaches and sports science professionals.
Beyond her clinical role, she oversees athlete health operations at the academy, bringing structure, accountability, and an athlete-centred approach to long-term development.

Bharani is the Strength & Conditioning Coach at the academy — and few coaches bring what he does to the role: the lived experience of a professional athlete. From Taekwondo to national-level boxing, football, and sprinting, sport defined his life until career-ending injuries forced him off the track. That turning point led him into Strength & Conditioning, driven by a firsthand understanding of what athletes endure and a passion for helping them perform at their highest level.
He holds a Masters in High Performance Training from UCAM, Spain, along with advanced certifications as a Certified S&C Specialist and Olympic Weightlifting Training Specialist.
Bharani’s expertise is shaped as much by years of competitive sport as by his experience in the weight room — giving him a rare ability to bridge the gap between athletic performance and intelligent conditioning.

Sanjay Sajan is the Strength & Conditioning Coach at the academy, bringing a data-driven approach to athlete performance rooted in Mechanical Engineering and a BSc in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences from UCAM, Spain. He holds the CSCS credential and is additionally certified by the American Council on Exercise (ACE).
A national-level athlete in cricket and football for Tamil Nadu, Sanjay's playing career ended through injury, and that became the catalyst. The firsthand experience of what it takes to perform, and what it costs when the body fails, drew him into Strength & Conditioning. Time spent in high-performance environments across Spain and Goa shaped a coach capable of developing and elevating professional athletes at the highest level.
His expertise spans strength and conditioning, injury management, movement efficiency, and golf-specific biomechanics, underpinned by a commitment to building resilient, high-performing athletes.

Pranav Jose is a Sports and Golf Psychologist with over four years of experience working with athletes across competitive sporting environments. He has worked with golfers across junior and competitive levels and also gained international exposure as a Trainee Sports Psychologist with the Scottish Women's Premier League, where he worked within a high-performance football environment. Using modern, evidence-based psychological approaches, Pranav helps athletes better understand their minds, navigate pressure, manage overthinking and self-doubt, and build healthier relationships with their thoughts, emotions, and performance experiences. His work focuses on helping athletes perform with greater freedom, clarity, resilience, and consistency under pressure.
A lifelong athlete himself, Pranav grew up playing football and represented both his school and college at competitive levels, giving him a strong understanding of the realities athletes face both on and off the field. Known for his relatable and practical approach, he combines performance psychology with real-world application to help athletes develop psychological flexibility, emotional awareness, intentionality, and trust in themselves. His goal is not only to help athletes perform better, but also to help them build a healthier and more sustainable relationship with sport and competition.

Dr. Rokhsar Vakharia is the Co-Founder and Chief Operations Officer of the academy. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Delhi and brings a research-led, systems-driven approach to building high-performance learning environments.
With deep experience in qualitative and ethnographic consumer research for leading Indian brands, she combines on-ground insight with sharp operational thinking. Her stint as a Sociologist at a unicorn data analytics organisation, alongside her academic training, has shaped a leadership style rooted in strong processes, high standards, and consistent team execution.
At TSG Academy, she has been instrumental in creating an environment of excellence one that gives young golfers the structure, support, and standards they need to pursue their dream of turning professional one day. From building pathways and processes to strengthening culture, operations and student support systems, she brings together everything she has learned to help build TSG Academy from the ground up as a world-class destination for junior, amateur and professional golf development.

At TSG, Ajo Jose plays a role that goes far beyond routines. As the Head of Student Affairs, he watches over our students like family, from making sure they follow discipline in the residences, to gently guiding them when they drift, to navigating heartfelt conversations with parents and assuring them their children are in safe hands.
His eyes are everywhere, always observing, always caring, always making sure the little things are taken care of. No task is ever too small or too big for him. If there’s a problem, Ajo is already on his way to finding a solution.
Over the years, we’ve seen him grow into one of the strongest pillars of our academy. A proud member of the TSG family, his presence reminds us every day that building athletes is also about building human beings.

Rohit Rastogi leads Operations at the academy, bringing a strong background in Human Resources, organisational management, and people development. With over five years of experience across HR Operations, talent acquisition, employee engagement, and process management, he combines structured execution with a people-centric approach to building efficient and high-performing environments.
Holding an MBA in Human Resources, Rohit has experience in managing operational systems, streamlining processes, and developing data-driven dashboards that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement. His ability to balance operational efficiency with strong team coordination plays an important role in supporting the academy’s day-to-day functioning and long-term growth.
In addition to his operational role, Rohit also brings experience as a Corporate Wellness Coach and Career Counsellor. Known for his approachable nature and collaborative mindset, he contributes to creating a positive, organised, and athlete-focused environment at the academy.

Aaditya Prakash oversees golf operations at the academy and leads the media, content, and digital communication ecosystem for TSG. Bringing together experience in sports management, event operations, content strategy, and storytelling, he plays a key role in supporting both the day-to-day functioning and public-facing identity of the academy.
A national-level basketball player with over 10 years of competitive experience, Aaditya brings a strong understanding of athlete environments, teamwork, and performance culture. With a background in Sports Management from Indian Institute of Management Rohtak, he has contributed to large-scale sporting events through GTCC and has also been recognised by the Indian Olympic Association for his involvement in sports event operations and management.
Known for his high-energy personality and people-first approach, Aaditya brings creativity, adaptability, and enthusiasm into every aspect of academy life.

Gagan Ganapathy leads Business Development and Partnerships at the academy, bringing over 13 years of experience across Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Account Management, Customer Relations, and Operations. His professional journey spans sectors including sustainability consulting, real estate, hospitality, and technology-enabled services, giving him a strong understanding of strategic growth, client engagement, and market expansion.
He has led business development initiatives across pan-India and international markets, with expertise in managing partnerships, negotiating commercial agreements, developing data-driven proposals, and improving operational efficiency through structured systems and digital tools. Known for his communication and stakeholder management skills, he combines strategic thinking with a relationship-driven approach to business.
