1 week program

This program has been designed to help young golfers experience academy life alongside intensive coaching and practice. The player will need to base himself at the academy during this period, working on the game 5-7 hours per day and getting an assessment done at our Sports Science center to help understand what exercises his/her/her body needs in order to achieve his/her golf goals.

The player gets a comprehensive understanding of the required changes and will have gained experience of the practice protocols that will be required to make these changes in the coming weeks/months. The player learns the difference between regular practice and "effective" practice.

1 month program

This program has been designed to help young golfers experience academy life alongside intensive coaching and practice. The player will need to base himself at the academy during this period, working on the game 5 hours per day along with fitness for another 1-2 hours everyday with the physiotherapy team, and the strength and conditioning team.

The player gets a comprehensive understanding of the required changes and will have gained experience of the practice protocols that will be required to make these changes when he returns to his/her base. The player learns the difference between regular practice and "effective" practice.

Program for Golf Professionals

This program is for full time professional golfers playing in India or on multiple tours. The focus is on the technical, mental and physical maintenance of the player and year-round strategies to enhance performance. This is a residential program wherein the player makes the academy their base and returns to it after every tournament in order to continually improve and work on their game. A team of sports science experts work with the players alongside the coaching team to ensure that the player maintains a strong body and mind through the year.

Integrated Residential Program

This program is for golfers who want to accelerate their training by making the academy their base. Golfers on this program stay in the academy residences and travel for tournaments from here. The program takes a holistic approach to building a golfer. The golfer learns to live everyday like an elite athlete, learning early on what it takes to play the sport at a high level. The program is built on the foundation of discipline and routine.

Golfers pursuing academics will get upto 15 hours per week to pursue their chosen online system of study or do self study. The Learning Center for studies is equipped with Wi-Fi. You can visit the academics page on this website to learn more.

Golf and Sports Science Program

This is a residential program for students who train for 3-4 days every week or 10-12 days a month. They miss school/college and base themselves at the facility for the duration of their training and follow the timetable provided. They have personalized practice protocols and continuous reviews of the same.

Their progress is monitored closely and technical work on their game is tied to their sports science training (on speed, balance, mobility, agility, power etc. based on their developmental age). Students on this program have a 2-3 hour window to continue their academic commitments if required alongside training.

Only Golf Coaching program - for 10 year olds & below

This program is designed for young children who have shown keenness to play golf on a regular basis. Our goal is to ensure that the child has fun and stays with the sport for a number of years rather than burning out by the time he/she is 13 years old which is a common feature. We keep the learning simple in terms of technique yet instill in them the right basics and encourage them to play fearlessly without any worry of the outcome.

Only Golf Coaching program - Others

This program is designed for students/adults in any age group residing outside Bangalore that want only technical training on the golf front. While TSG has a more holistic approach to training students in golf and sports science, there are some adults and even juniors who live in different cities and want to come in as often as possible only for technical training. This annual program ensures that they have our support even when they are practicing back home via a video app and regular zoom calls. This program is effective only if we see the player for a few weeks in the year.

Overseas Player Support Program

This program has been designed for students who want to be part of the TSG system of training while studying abroad in college. In this program students are mentored to ensure that their practice protocols are in place including the technical elements of the swing. With regular video work and weekly calls, the student continues to get the guidance he requires to excel on the college team. The program works best when the student is able to visit the academy for a few weeks in the year, in person, during his/her India visits.

Program for Putting only

This program is for golfers who only want to train with TSG for putting. TSG has an indoor putting studio along with the relevant technology for outdoor putting work too. You will learn to work with data from the SAM Lab, Capto and Hack Motion. Off-campus support will also be provided when the player is away, but the program works best when you are able to spend a few weeks in the year training in person on campus.

Single Session program (for adults only)

This program is for recreational golfers who want to get better at their game. They benefit from the TSG academy system of training that also teaches them how to be better in practice. We have deliberately moved beyond the traditional assembly line way of coaching where lessons are a half hour/hour long. The advantage here is that we supervise your practice too to ensure what you have learnt is being done right. The coaching takes place on all days of the week alongside the students of the academy. The coaches are on the driving range to teach and watch as they move between players.

The single sessions are 3 hours or 5 hours long per day and can be done over multiple days.
